Police Seek Suspect In Bridgeport Bank Robbery

Bridgeport Police and the Belmont County Sheriffs Department are looking for a man they say robbed Unified Bank in Bridgeport Saturday morning.

The robber has been described by the sheriffs department as a white male, approximately 5 feet 3 inches tall, and 120 lbs. Police say he walked up to the teller, handed them a note saying he had a gun and was demanding money. The man fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. Police are working to locate the suspect.

BRIDGEPORT — Police are looking for a man who robbed the Unified Bank in Bridgeport early this morning.

Belmont County Sheriff David Lucas is assisting the Bridgeport Police Department with the case. He said the suspect is a white man who is 5 feet to 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighs 100-120 pounds. THe man left the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash after presenting a note demanding money and threatening the use of a weapon.

Anyone who knows the suspect or has information regarding his whereabouts should call law enforcement.
