The Public Works Deparatment is continuing to monitor weather predictions and has equipment ready to go. They said crews will be called in overnight as accumulating snow begins in the city.
The Street Maintenance Division maintains continual coverage around the clock during adverse weather conditions and will be plowing and treating roads as conditions warrant.
City plows will be prioritized to arterials such as main streets, areas near schools and hospitals, and transit routes.
