CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) — A motorcyclist was seriously hurt after a collision with a car, Saturday afternoon.
Authorities said it happened around 4:30 p.m. in Cedar Rapids northwest side at the intersection of F Ave and 1st Street NW.
A news release from authorities had limited information, but said emergency crews took the operator of the motorcycle to a local hospital with “serious injuries.”
The report states both Thursday and Friday’s fire have been ruled unintentional. Thursday’s fire is reportedly the result of radiant heat exposure that ignited wood behind the stainless steal surrounding the stove in Riley’s Cafe kitchen, and Friday’s fire was reportedly the result of an electrical fire.
Fire crews arrived to fire coming out of 1st and 2nd story windows. Adjacent homes of 941 Oakland Road NE received fire and heat exposure damage.
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KWWL)–Cedar Rapids Fire Department answered a call about a house fire on the 900 block of Oakland Road NE at 5:53 pm today. The fire is reportedly spreading to an adjacent house.
