Clarksville man died after being shot inside vehicle that crashed in Nashville - WZTV

Police investigating shooting that led to fatal car crash

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — A Clarksville man is identified as the person killed in a deadly mid-town Nashville shooting.

The driver of a Range Rover died at the scene of a crash at 17th Avenue North and Hayes Street at around 11 p.m. Friday, according to Metro Nashville police. They say evidence shows that the driver, 23-year-old Quinzell Pannell Jr., of Clarksville, was shot inside the vehicle prior to the accident.

Two passengers received non-life threatening injuries. They have been interviewed by police, who report finding two handguns and a small amount of marijuana in the Range Rover.
