In two days, playoff football continues, which means every win gets you another title and another step closer to a trip to Lucas Oil Stadium.
The Lions fell 28-21 to the Oilers and Bremen’s leading rusher Nathan Mullen remembers it very clearly and is ready for some revenge.
“They were really good and they still are really good,” said Mullen. “It was a really good game, we lost by seven points, it came down to the last quarter and last drive of the game. I had a turnover in the third quarter that I still remember and it was a huge turning point and Im ready for Friday. We need to outwork them in practice and hopefully Friday will be no different.”
Also in class 2A, Concord escaped with a three-point victory over Central last Friday for the sectional championship.
The Wolves ended the Minutemens season last fall as well. Craig Koehler and his bunch are well aware of what kind of hurdle is in front of them this Friday.
