UPDATE Power restored in West Fargo neighborhood – Valley News Live

An estimated 190 Cass County Electric Cooperative members near Westport Beach in West Fargo are currently experiencing a power outage.

Officials say the cause is unknown at this time. Crews have been contacted and dispatched and are working to restore power safely and as quickly as possible.

According to the West Fargo Police Department, Felix Wallette III, 29, was driving a vehicle in the 1300 block of 13th Avenue East at 1:24 a.m. when an officer attempted to pull him over. Wallette allegedly fled eastbound on 13th Avenue into Fargo before losing control near 14th Street South and crashing into a light pole.

Paul Jurgens began as a reporter-anchor at KFGO on March 15, 1983 after working 3 years at KVOX-K100 in Moorhead. Hes a graduate of Fergus Falls High School and Brown College in Minneapolis. He became News Director of KFGO in 1987.

According to police, Wallette then got out of the vehicle and ran for a short ways before being apprehended by both Fargo and West Fargo officers.

FARGO (KFGO) – A West Fargo man is in the Cass County Jail after an attempted traffic stop in West Fargo early Fri. morning that ended when the car he was driving ran into a light pole in Fargo.

Wallette is being charged with fleeing a motor vehicle, fleeing on foot, driving under suspension, fictitious registration, possession of a stolen vehicle and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is being held at the Cass County Jail. No one was injured during the pursuit.
