Police say NH man intentionally drove into the ocean in North Hampton – WGME

NORTH HAMPTON — The town’s police and fire departments responded to a motor vehicle accident Friday evening as a car ended up partially in the ocean.

Police said a preliminary investigation determined Vincent Medugno, 43, of Londonderry, intentionally caused the accident. Medugno was able to exit the vehicle, police said.

According to police, Medugno drove his 2010 Honda Insight off Ocean Boulevard at the intersection of Atlantic Avenue.

Medugno was transported by North Hampton Fire and Rescue to Portsmouth Regional Hospital. He suffered unspecified, non-life threatening injuries, police said.
