Peoria police arrest robbery suspect, seek accomplice

Charles Ross, 28, was arrested on September 28 near 81st and Peoria avenues for a robbery on August 21 and two on September 25.

In all three robberies, authorities say Ross presented a note to the teller and indicated he was armed. He then rode a bicycle away from the scene.

Ross was identified with help from the FBI, as was an accomplice, 43-year-old Jevon Mason, who is believed to have been Ross' getaway driver in the two September 25 robberies.

Police say Mason self-surrendered to law enforcement in the area of 27th and Maryland avenues in Phoenix on October 9.
