Salem Police released this photo of a car that crashed while carrying five teenagers on Saturday, March 23, 2019.
Police and firefighters responded to a 911 call at 4:15 a.m. Upon arrival, emergency responders found a heavily damaged sedan that was occupied by five teenagers, ages 14 to 17. The cars midsection had struck a tree in the 6600 block of Fairway Avenue Southeast.

Upon arrival, responders discovered that one of the passengers, a 17-year-old, was dead. The teens next of kin have been notified, but police havent yet released the teens name.
