DEVELOPING: Heavy police presence in northeastern Sioux Falls

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – According to a sergeant with the Sioux Falls Police Department, the shooting happened around 9:30 PM Friday at Hidden Hills Apartments in Sioux Falls.

Two people were injured with gunshot wounds, but the extent of their injuries is unknown. Police would not release any information on their identity.

The shooting happened within the apartment complex on the 900 block of Cliff Avenue in Sioux Falls. But officials arent sure if it was inside an apartment or not.

The situation is contained to that area, but police officers are still asking tenants there for more information about what exactly happened.
