Police were called to Boston Road for a disturbance at about 7 p.m. and found a man suffering from stab wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene, said Ryan Walsh, police spokesman.
There is no threat to the public and the medical examiner will ultimately determine the cause of death, he said.
He did not give a specific address for the stabbing but said it was between 900 and 1100, which is in the area of Five Mile Pond and between the intersections of Brandon Avenue and Shumway Street.
