Cops In Macomb, Sterling Heights, Troy, Warren Searching For Woman On Crime Spree

Suspect wanted for Comerica Bank robbery

Macomb Township — Authorities are looking for a woman wanted in connection with a bank robbery Thursday afternoon in Macomb Township.

Deputies responded at 12:03 p.m. to the Comerica Bank at 16700 26 Mile Road on reports of a robbery. 

The woman, who police described as 5-foot 1-inch tall, entered the bank wearing large sunglasses, a blue hoodie and knee-length navy blue coat.

She handed an employee a note demanding money and then fled the scene with a small amount of large bills.

Macomb County Sheriff Anthony Wickersham said his detectives are investigating the bank robbery and anyone with information should contact their department at (586) 307-9358. 

Officers say a black woman entered the bank and handed the teller a note demanding cash. The suspect was able to leave the scene with a small amount of large bills in a silver vehicle, according to police. 

The woman was captured on camera wearing large sunglasses, a blue hoodie and a knee length navy blue coat.
