SYRACUSE, N.Y. — A 42-year-old Syracuse man has been arrested in a May 21 homicide, according to Syracuse police.
Ernest Johnson, 42, of Syracuse, was arrested Friday and charged with second-degree murder and second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, police said.
On May 21st, officers responded to the 100 block of West LaFayette Avenue after a 911 call for shots fired, police said. Officers found casings in the road, between 156 and 160 West LaFayette Ave. and Shondell Days, 43, arrived at Upstate University Hospital in a private vehicle, police said.
