Shooting in Vallejo leaves 1 man dead, 3 wounded

VALLEJO — Authorities are investigating a murder in Vallejo, after a man died early Sunday morning from gunshot wounds.

Vallejo police responded to reports of gunshots on the 100 block of Princeton Ave. at 12:34 a.m. Sunday. When they arrived, they found a man with gunshot wounds who was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a press release from Vallejo Police Department.

According to the release, three additional victims with gunshot wounds “self-transported” to local hospitals and are expected to survive. Those three people were at the hospital, not at the scene when police arrived, according to Sgt. Jeff Tai.
