Silver Alert issued for man last seen in Wilmington

Missing person alert issued for Jose Pedro Villatoro

Villatoro is described as a 54-year-old Hispanic man 5 feet 4 inches tall who weighs 260 pounds. He has short black hair and his eyes are black.

The N.C. Center for Missing Persons has issued a Silver Alert for a missing endangered man, Jose Pedro Villatoro, who is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment.

He was last seen at 505 Cando St. in Wilmington wearing a tan t-shirt, blue jeans and heavy red raincoat. He was wearing a watch on his left wrist and rings on his left hand, one of which is gold with a cross.

The Wilmington Police Department is asking people to be on the lookout for Jose Villatoro. He is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment.

He was wearing a tan T-shirt, blue jeans, a heavy red raincoat and a watch on his left wrist. Also rings on his left hand, one of which will be gold with a cross.

He was last seen at 505 Cando St. in Wilmington and he may be traveling to Hunter, New York, or New York City.
